Summer sunshine becomes clean energy for Cimberio!

Cimberio considers summer sun a valuable energy source, produced in full respect of the environment by two photovoltaic systems installed on the plants of San Maurizio d’Opaglio and Berzonno. These two systems, dating back to 2010 and 2012, have generated a massive quantity of energy (over 2.9 million kWh and more than 1564 tons of CO2 emissions prevented!) and they continue to do so covering the company energy needs.

Sustainability has always inspired Cimberio which, in addition to manufacturing its valves though sustainable processes, decided to exploit this renewable source to generate clean air, cut down consumption costs and limit CO2 harmful emissions. This important project cannot but contribute to the constant growth of Lake of Orta, the Cusian basin home of “The Tap District” which Cimberio is part of.
