"Paralympics? Not enough!". International Athletes and Artists in Borgomanero (NO) on May 5

It’s all set for “Paralympics? Not Enough!”, an event organized in collaboration with Cimberio that this year celebrates its 60th anniversary on Friday May 5 at 8.30 p.m. at Cinema Teatro Nuovo of Borgomanero (NO).

A night to speak a “universal” language and communicate strong messages and values: sports and art as means to overcome barriers. International paralympic athletes and disabled artists will be on stage for this event – hosted by journalist Roberto Bof – to perform and talk about their life values, experiences and work. Cimberio Handicap Sport, the wheelchair basket team which has always been supported by Cimberio, will contribute in transmitting the positive values of those who have overcome barriers and achieved their goals. Perseverance, determination, courage - skills required for sports – are today, more than ever, values that must be mirrored in everyday life and in one’s profession, to grow and constantly improve. The same principles that have guided Cimberio for 60 years.

Athletes and artists attending the event: Federico Morlacchi (swimmer, Rio 2016 gold medal), his team from Nazionale Arjola Trimi, Giulia Ghiretti, Arianna Talamona, Alessia Berra and Fabrizio Sottile, athletes from Gruppo Polha Nuovo Varese; Vittorio Podestà (handbiker); Paolo Cecchetto (handbiker); Daniele Cassioli (water ski); Margherita Bersoi (athlete and pianist); Simona Atzori (dancer and painter); Nicoletta Tinti (dancer); Cimberio Handicap Sport Varese (wheelchair basket); GSH Sempione 82 ASD (sport association practicing various disciplines).
