Cimberio celebrates its 60th anniversary with "Paralimpici non basta": on May 5, the sports and solidarity event with the Rio Paralympics athletes

Cimberio celebrates its 60th anniversary with the “Paralympics is not enough” event, dedicated to sports performed by disabled people.

The event will be held at the Teatro Nuovo of Borgomanero (Novara) on May 5, hosted by journalist Roberto Bof, where Paralympics athletes, that proudly represented Italy at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, together with sport champions and disabled artists will touch the audience’s heart with their performance.

Cimberio has always put commitment to sports and social support on the forefront: sport stands for courage, commitment and determination, the same values that have been guiding the company and its activity for 60 years. For this reason, Cimberio has been supporting “Cimberio Handicap Sport”, the homonymous Series A basketball team which will also attend the event of May 5.

A strong connection with sports performed by disabled people to show how a strong will can nurture challenge and support solidarity. The May 5 event will be a night not to be missed, to get to know and make know these athletes and performers, and to create an appointment to last in time with their world of values, as recalled by the Managing Director Roberto Cimberio: “These are people that have turned their disability into a challenging factor, they prove how important hard working and a strong will can overcome obstacles, turning them into an opportunity of success, standing as an example for everyone”.

Athletes taking part to the event include: Federico Morlacchi (swimming); Daniele Cassioli (water ski); Margherita Borsoi (taekwondo, ski, swimming); Paolo Cecchetto (handbike); Vittorio Podestà (handbike); PolHa Nuoto Varese; Cimberio Handicap Sport; HS Sempione; Michele Ferrarin (triathlon); Giovanni Achenza (paratriathlon, handbike). Also present will be: Simona Atzori (dancer, painter, writer); Nicoletta Tinti (athlete and dancer); Silvia Bertoluzza (dancer).
