Work has begun in Burundi

Our school in Burundi is growing by the day. The construction work on a new school building in Bugenyuzi, which we have decided to build in collaboration with the Varese nel Cuore Consortium, has already been underway for a few weeks. And, with splendidly African tempo, they are already at a pretty good point.
The brickwork has already been completed, as have the coverings that will support the permanent roof. They are currently constructing the pavilion that will house the bathrooms. However, since the rainy season has already begun, this task is fraught with difficulty.
 
The next step will be the realization of the infrastructures, which will bring running water to the rooms of the school.
We promised that we would constantly keep you updated on the progression of the work, and we will continue to do that until the school is completed and the children are in the classrooms.
