TASKS
• Analyze and develop mechanical machining processes to improve efficiency and performance.
• Evaluate the design and manufacturing of custom-made tools, fixtures, and technical cycles for transfer machines and machining centers.
• Manage workgroups related to chip removal processes.
• Train personnel following the implementation of new processes, providing instructions and manuals.
• Analyze and assess plant layout and system solutions, including evaluation of investments in industrial automation, machine tools, and loading/unloading systems.
SKILLS
• Knowledge of machine tools, preferably transfer machines, and the design and manufacturing of custom tools.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software.
• Preferably familiar with CAD/CAM systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to quantitative data analysis (preferably with knowledge of Lean methodologies).
• Understanding of automation, vision systems, and loading/unloading systems.
• Teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills.
EDUCATION
• Degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma in Mechanics.
