OUR HISTORY
Founded in 1957, Cimberio S.p.A. has a long history of passion, dedication and growth.
From a small family business, we have become a leading manufacturer of valves and components for hydraulic systems.
1927
Giacomo Cimberio, together with partners Gioira and Fortis, establishes “Fortis-Cimberio-Gioira” for the production of gate valves.
1957
Cimberio is founded by Giacomo Cimberio with 15 employees. It becomes one of the first Italian valve manufacturers to distinguish its products with a brand.
1960
Renzo Cimberio begins working in the company, supporting his father Giacomo in managing the business and focusing on international sales.
1970
In the early 1970s, the production of the ball valve begins, marking a significant innovation.
1980
In the 1980s, Roberto Cimberio joins the company. The firm earns certification from the British BSI for its quality management system. Meanwhile, growing production capacity leads to the opening of a second factory in Berzonno di Pogno.
1990
In the 1990s, new distribution centers are opened abroad.
2000
The 2000s are marked by a focus on advanced technologies, automation, robotics, and research and development. Both factories expand, and Cimberio’s presence in global markets is solidified.
2015
Thanks to a shared investment with the European Union under the Horizon 2020 program, SmartCim is positioned as a cornerstone of our development
2024
Between Now and Next: through a series of strategic acquisitions—Enersem and Intellienergy—the Cimberio Group grows and looks to the future by creating its own “energy division,” entering the world of building energy intelligence.
2025
In the presence of the Minister for Environment and Energy Security, Hon. Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, AGP is inaugurated: our innovative galvanic plating plant that has revolutionized galvanic treatments with advanced and sustainable technologies.
