Cimberio takes centre stage on Italy’s National Made in Italy Day 2026

On 15 April, the anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s birth, Italy celebrates its National Made in Italy Day. For Cimberio S.p.A. it was an intense day, lived on two fronts: in the province of Novara, with a visit by ITS students to the production facilities, and in Rome, at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, for the celebration of Italy’s 1,000 Historic Brands.

The ITS students’ visit

During the morning, Cimberio’s facilities in San Maurizio d’Opaglio welcomed a group of students from the post-diploma ITS programme “Industry 4.0 and Robotics” at Fondazione Academy in Borgomanero. The visit is in keeping with the spirit of Italy’s National Made in Italy Day, which invites companies to open their doors to the next generation and pass on the value of Italian manufacturing.

The students had the opportunity to walk through the production departments, observe the automated assembly lines, digital quality control systems and robotic applications integrated into the production process. The experience was designed to show concretely how the skills acquired during the ITS programme find direct application in Italian manufacturing.

The visit opened in the Sala Dallas, the company’s historic boardroom, with a presentation on Cimberio and the screening of a video message from the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso.

Rome: Cimberio among Italy’s 1,000 Historic Brands

At the same time, in Rome, Roberto Cimberio attended the event organised by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy and the Associazione Marchi Storici d’Italia to celebrate the milestone of 1,000 brands registered in the Special Register of Historic Brands, established by Italy’s Made in Italy Framework Law. Roberto Cimberio was received by Minister Adolfo Urso.

Cimberio has been an Italian Historic Brand since 2022. A recognition rooted in a story that begins in 1927, when Giacomo Cimberio started his business in the province of Novara. In 1957 Cimberio S.p.A. was officially established, growing over the decades to become a world leader in the production of brass valves and components for the hydronic, air conditioning, gas distribution and water supply sectors. Today the company operates two production facilities in the province of Novara, employs more than 190 people, has 6 international subsidiaries and distributes its products in 77 countries worldwide. All production remains in Italy.

One day, two places, one meaning

Students in the factory in San Maurizio d’Opaglio and Roberto Cimberio at the Ministry in Rome: two moments distant in geography, but connected by the same thread. Made in Italy is not a label. It is a method, a responsibility, a choice renewed every day. Cimberio has been living it since 1927.
