An Open Doors morning to celebrate Made in Italy

A guided tour of the production lines, direct interaction with technicians, and a hands-on experience of the value of Italian manufacturing innovation: this was the enriching experience that a group of students from Fondazione Academy enjoyed this morning at Cimberio, in celebration of the National Made in Italy Day.

The initiative, titled “Open Doors on Made in Italy”, was held under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT) and in collaboration with the Italian Historic Brands Association. It welcomed young participants currently enrolled in vocational training programs for warehouse and lathe operators, aimed at unemployed individuals.

“Opening our doors on such a symbolic day was a simple gesture, yet one filled with meaning,” said Roberto Cimberio, CEO of the company.
“We wanted to give these young people the chance to witness firsthand how we do business — with innovation, sustainability, and pride in Made in Italy. It was also a way for us to look to the future, with confidence in the new generations.”

The visit included a tour of the production departments, research and development labs, and opportunities for open dialogue between students and company professionals.

Francesca Ferrandi, Director of Fondazione Academy, added:
“Collaborating with companies like Cimberio is essential: it gives our students real-world experiences where contact with the business world becomes an opportunity for growth and career orientation. We are proud to have taken part in a day that highlights the value of enterprise and education.”

With this event, Cimberio — a historic local company and internationally recognized brand — reaffirms its commitment to promoting Italian industrial culture by investing in the dialogue between business, education, and the community.
