A successful workshop against gender-based violence

On September 8 and 9, Cimberio S.p.A. organized a workshop dedicated to the issue of gender-based violence, involving everyone in the company in moments of listening, discussion, and training.

The initiative is part of the path begun with the gender equality certification obtained in 2023 and represents a concrete step in building a corporate culture based on respect and awareness.

During the sessions, which lasted about an hour and were addressed to groups of 25–30 people, the main issues related to gender-based violence were explored: how to recognize the warning signs, how to intervene, and which tools and resources are available. It was an important opportunity to raise awareness on a matter that concerns society as a whole.

In support of this initiative, the company also chose to make a donation to the social cooperative Liberazione e Speranza, an organization active since 1999 in the provinces of Novara and Varese, working daily to welcome, protect, and reintegrate women who are victims of violence.

“It is not common to talk about gender-based violence within a company. That is precisely why we are proud to have done so and, above all, to have involved all the people who work with us. We believe it was an important moment of growth and awareness, enriching our corporate community and strengthening the sense of responsibility we want to carry forward,” said Roberto Cimberio, CEO of Cimberio S.p.A.
