The first defeat
After 9 consecutive wins, Cimberio Varese lost its first game in the championship. The loss, which still leaves Varese in first place in the standings with a 2 point advantage over its nearest rival, occurred in Rome following an excellent game that was contested up to the final second. Varese plays again next Sunday at home against Montegranaro, with hopes of immediately getting back to its winning ways.
