Cimberio in Rome for movie premiere on Italian first-class products

Cimberio was selected as representative of Lake Orta’s “Distretto del Rubinetto” during the gala that took place in Rome on October 18, for the official presentation of the movie “Unicità e Eccellenza. Un viaggio nel cuore dell’industria italiana”.

The documentary, directed by economist Alexander Kockerbeck, premiered first at the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei in the presence of Alberto Quadrio Curzio, professor and economist, Marco Fortis, Vice-president and Chief Economist of Fondazione Edison and Marcella Panucci, General Director of Confindustria.

“It is an honour for Cimberio to represent the Cusio region first-class products, among the main industrial poles of the Italian productivity – declared Roberto Cimberio -. Our company is part of the world’s largest district of taps and fittings, an expression of how we turned water into our special mission, and that today employs over 10,000 workers, with an overall turnover of 1.5 billion Euros, 80% of which represented by the export market. We are very proud, as we have always believed in Made in Italy products and the strong bond we have with our territory."

Italy is the second manufacturing country of the European Community – after Germany – for added value and employees, with the fifth best manufacturing balance of trade in the world, with an export surplus of over 90 billion Euros in 2016.
