The countdown is on: the school built in Burundi with Cimberio's support will soon open doors

The works will be completed in December 2017, then the students will be finally able to enjoy the new classrooms built by the locals during the last three years, with the sponsorship of firms such as Cimberio and the charity initiative "Run4Africa".

The goal of the project, started in 2014 contextually to the construction works, was to raise funds to build a professional school for electricians and mechanics. The initiative has been supported with great commitment on both sides: Cimberio has organized numerous fundraising sport events while construction of the school, in the African town of Bugenyuzi, has encouraged the local population. The project sustainability was key: the materials used have been manufactured on site, with local raw materials and manpower regularly paid.

A great example of synergy and territory development, to offer a better future to thousands of kids, both on an educational level and for a real possibility to enter the labor market.
